THE BEST MEMORIES OF YOUR TRIP TO FRANCE WILL BE THOSE MOMENTS WHEN YOU SPOKE IN FRENCH AND THEY LISTENED!
Pascale Heuze was our guide and French teacher during an extended stay in France. My wife and I arrived in Paris with English-only language skills and plenty of hesitation when we tried to interact verbally with the wonderful people of France. We immediately looked for help and found Pascale who became our language mentor and occasional guide in and around the City of Light. Pascale started with what we needed to know to progress from just confused tourists to functional visitors who could find and use some of the “insider stuff” that usually only the locals know about. Very soon we were able to turn down the American menu and order in French, shop in department stores, buy train and metro tickets, get the best foods in the open markets, and actually interact successfully with the notorious French bureaucracy. Thank you Pascale!
