Laboling – The Italian language school in Sicily – has been offering language and culture courses in Milazzo since 1994. The school is in downtown Milazzo, close to the beautiful beach Spiaggia di Ponente, not far away from the port connecting to the Aeolian Islands.
The city is located on a long, narrow peninsula that stretches north along the Sicilian coast facing the Aeolian Archipelago. Milazzo is one of the oldest and most historically significant cities in Sicily. It is a small city, which allows you to walk around easily. It is also the best starting point to discover the major tourist attractions and the most important historic sites in Sicily.
In Milazzo the average temperature is about 13 degrees in winter, 20 in spring, 27 in summer, 21 in autumn. Our mild climate allows you interesting and exciting excursions all year round. Laboling will take you to visit and discover cities of art, archaeological sites, volcanoes, little islands, the most famous tourist sites and small towns where ancient traditions still survive.

Laboling is open all year round and offers:

All our accommodation is carefully selected for a comfortable stay, in quiet areas close to the school and to the beach.

Laboling collaborates with the Università per Stranieri di Siena and is recognised as a teacher training centre. The school is also a DITALS (Certificazione in Didattica dell’Italiano come Lingua Straniera) and a CILS (Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera) examination centre.

    Laboling organises a wide range of cultural activities and excursions outside of the lessons.

    Thanks to Sicily’s mild climate, the average temperature is around 13 degrees in winter, 20 degrees in spring, 27 degrees in summer and 21 degrees in autumn, it is possible to go on excursions throughout the year.

    Laboling will accompany you on visits to cities famous for their art, archaeological sites, volcanoes, small islands and tradition-rich tourist traps.
    Visa Information
    Students from outside the European Community who would like to attend a course in Italian language and culture for more than 90 days need a Visto d’entrata (student’s entry visa). This can be obtained from the Italian Embassy in the student’s country.
