The school is located in the historical centre of Venice, in a well-known Venetian square, Campo Santa Margherita. It is a meeting place for students and residents who go shopping in the beautiful shops of the area or take a break to chat and drink in the open-air cafés.
A historical building with a wide terrace on the campo hosts the school.

Average age is around 35 from september to April, then it goes down around 25 in summertime.

All the students have free access to two internet points, a self-access study room with video facilities where they can watch films from the video collection of the school and wi-fi Internet connection.
Learning a language is much more than being familiar with its grammar rules: it also entails learning in-depth about the culture it represents. Included in the course price the possibility to improve your knowledge of Italian culture thanks to the social activities organized in Venice, such as thematic walking tours, wine&food tasting, cinema and music labs, cooking lessons and so on.
Istituto Venezia can release an admission letter upon receiving the whole amount for the desired course; then it is up to the student to submit this document to the italian embassy or consulate in his/her country.
How to get there
This service can be booked with at least 2 weeks notice and it costs 55 euros one way. A person from our staff will meet students at the airport arrival hall or at the train station and will accompany the student up to the assigned housing.
