English Courses in Cape Town, South Africa

INTERLINK is situated in Sea Point, a beachfront suburb on the Atlantic seaboard of Cape Town.  Sea Point is one of the most vibrant and cosmopolitan areas of Cape Town. Only ten minutes from the city centre, it has a beautiful seafront promenade where you can walk, jog, play soccer or simply relax and watch the sunset over the sea.

The school is very close to the world famous Clifton beaches and the V & A Waterfront, a major tourist attraction with many different things to do. In the Main Road of Sea Point you have easy access to all public transport, many different restaurants, shops, banks, the post office, supermarkets and anything else you need.  The area is clean, neat and safe, and has beautiful mountain and sea views.

We offer general and intensive English courses as well as exam preparation courses for the major international English exams such as Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS and the London Chamber of Commerce English for Business exams.  We are committed to providing high quality English language training in a professional yet interesting, relaxed and friendly environment.

Our classes are small with a maximum of 8 students, which enables our teachers to pay individual attention to your needs and ensure you achieve your goals.

We have a variety of accommodation options for students to choose from, and organise any tours, trips or services required.

INTERLINK is a member of Quality English, a group of carefully chosen independent English language schools worldwide whose goal is to deliver the highest standards of teaching and service.

Interlink is also an accredited examination centre for the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a member of Cape Town Tourism and a founding member of ELTASA, the English Language Travel Association of South Africa.

We are a smaller independent school and therefore don't attract large groups of any particular nationality. Most of our students are 20+ years of age and come to us by word of mouth or through agents and our website which enables a very good nationality mix.

We have students from Turkey, Brazil, Mozambique, Korea, Germany, Japan, France, Reunion, Spain, Switzerland and even Nepal. Average number of student  per class is 6.

Interlink is in a large Victorian house with a warm and friendly atmosphere.  The classrooms are spacious, airy and bright and have many posters, maps and charts on the walls.

There are computers with free internet/email access for students to use and interesting books and resources at all the different levels to assist students with their studies.

Students can prepare their lunch in our large welcoming kitchen, relax on one of our patios or enjoy the sea view from our balcony!

Cape Town with its splendid beauty and golden rich culture is the perfect city to learn in, live in and fall in love with!  Known as the mother city it lies between the sea and mountains and its natural beauty is impossible to escape.

From the magnificent splendor of Table Mountain, across the white beaches and breaking waves, through the buzzing cosmopolitan city and into the vibrant nightlife… your memories of Cape Town will live on forever!

You have chosen the right city, now choose the right school. Based in vibrant Sea Point, Interlink is centrally located, close to shops, the Waterfront and just around the corner from our famous beaches.

Our school is smaller than most and we pride ourselves on a professional approach in a relaxed and friendly environment. Because we are small, the students quickly get to know each other and social circles are easily formed.

Our social program is a great way to interact with fellow students outside the classroom. We enjoy dinners together; Cape Town has some great restaurants. We go for sunset picnics or a game of beach volley ball – the perfect way to end the day.

You may want to join us at a museum, and if music is your thing, come and dance with us in the vibey clubs and bars. The social program is based around what YOU want to see and do.

For those who enjoy nature, the options are endless.  Take a hike up the world famous Table Mountain and watch the world from above, or try a sunset walk up Lions Head and admire the full moon as it sets over the city.

Explore Kirstenbosch gardens with its abundance of fauna and flora. Ride the waves and enjoy the surf in False Bay. Grab your saddle and go for a horseback ride along the beach. Cape Town’s natural beauty will keep you entertained for hours.

Cape Town's streets are filled with history, and the museums expose our fascinating culture. The walking city tour is a great way to orientate yourself around the city.

A trip to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned, is an experience that should not be missed. Our township tour gives you a true taste of township life, with the residents proudly welcoming you to their homes and introducing you to their traditions.

For those who love the thrill of adrenalin, Cape Town offers a large variety of adventure sport. Abseil down Table Mountain, go shark cage diving, paraglide off Lions head, go kite-surfing, or try the ‘bungy’ jump off Bloukrans Bridge, the world's highest bungy jump!

These are just a few of the many options you have in Cape Town; at Interlink we promise to make your learning experience an unforgettable one!
