Language School description
Founded in 1997 and starting with only ten students, the English Studio is now a thriving institution which is accredited by The British Council. What makes the English Studio unique is the fact that it offers a range of high quality courses at
remarkably competitive rates in central London. Our aim is to combine
efficient individual attention with expert tuition to provide a caring
supportive environment in which to learn.
All of our teaching staff are at least CELTA qualified , while a
growing number of staff members have also successfully completed the
DELTA, which is the highest qualification an English language teacher
can attain. These qualities along with word of mouth recommendations
have led to us becoming one of the largest schools in London with over
1500 students. We pride ourselves on the fact that we have a very high
success rate in the exams our students take and it is this insistence
on quality control that has helped us to grow.

Language courses description and prices
We offer both full-time and part-time courses for General English courses, Business English courses and even Cambridge Exam preparation courses. Classes are 3 hours per day Monday to Friday. Full-time courses are in the following time slots: 9-12, 12-3 and 3-6. Part-time are available from 12-3, 3-6 and 6-8.
We have one-to-one courses for students with specific needs or who prefer the personal interaction.

Certificates & exams preparation
We offer fantastic preparation courses for the Cambridge FCE, CAE and CPE and we'll even help you register for the exam. We also offer IELTS preparation and we're even a TOEIC testing centre.
Student nationalities, average age & average number per class
We are not an exclusive school and so welcome anyone with the desire to learn English and discover London. We urge all students to ensure they have all the necessary immigration documentation before they arrive.
For most courses, the maximum possible class number is 27, with an average size of between 20-22.

When i arrived in London, i had a terrible experience in my former school (London Study Centre - Parsons Green) and i can tell that since i started in English Studio Shepherds Bush i changed my mind about what i could expect from an english language school in London. I've been study there since February 2009 and i am sure how far i got in my knowledges. I've had very good teachers and an open channel with the administration when i am not happy with something. Another fact is the value of the money. Definitely, English Studio is not the most expensive place to study. And you can have a trial class to experiment if that teacher is suitable for you. The facilities are ok, this school was refurbished recently and we can have wi-fi access to the internet. Althought, they could improve the number of toilets. Usually, our teachers provide very interesting material for us. Every month, we have a lot of options for social life as theatres, walkings and trips. And i could make a lot of friends because in the classes teachers encourage us to have conversation with everybody.

My school is so great, my experience here in this facilities has been wonderful, i have met a lot of new people and i am learning advanced english with all the teachers, i'm getting better every day.
My speaking has improved because my teachers encourage me to speak all the time. I'm really picking english up!!!!

The English Studio was perfect in every respect for my needs, wich were to improve my English.
The method of teaching is good and the teacher are great and funny...meetings outside school, parties help me improve my English wich another student and also know about my colleagues and have contact with another culture.
I really had good time in the school wich friends and teacher.A better experience and school in which to learn English could not be created.
