St Bede’s International Summer School, part of St Bede’s School Trust, has been running high-quality residential programmes for children, teenagers and young adults since 1993. Today, St Bede’s offers 4 different types of programme at 7 locations in Cambridge, London and the South East.

English & Activities. For 7 to 18 year olds and runs in 5 centres (Lancing, Dicker, Windlesham, Vinehall, Eastbourne). Courses run for 2 to 6 weeks from 1st July to 11th August 2012. In the morning, students have English Lessons, taught by qualified teachers, with 20 or 22.5 hrs of English per week in groups of 14 students maximum per class. In the afternoon, there are sports, activities and clubs, there is a full programme of entertainment in the evening with 2 excursions per week. Sports Academy in small groups is available in Tennis, Football, Horse Riding, Flying, Golf & Dance. Students sleep in boarding houses on the school campus and share bedrooms of mostly 2-5 beds with students from other countries.
At Dicker and Lancing students can enrol on a 3 or 4 week PET or FCE examination course.
Discover Cambridge. This is a residential programme for 18 to 22 year olds and takes place in Homerton College, Cambridge. There are 25 hours of lessons per week including English Skills, Language Workshops and Skills for Work in subjects such as Conducting Meetings, English for Business, Public Speaking and Presentation Skills and Negotiating in English. Students may take the Test of English for International Communications (TOEIC). There are optional evening and weekend social events, sports and trips in which students are encouraged to participate.The course is open from 15th July to 25th August 2012.
Discover London. For 17 to 21 year olds and takes place in Regent’s College, London. There are 25 hours of lessons per week including English Skills, Language Workshops and Academic Seminars in subjects such as business, law, marketing, management and computing. There are optional evening and weekend social events, sports and trips in which students are encouraged to participate. The course is open from 1st July to 11th August 2012.
Academic Preparation. This course is for 12 to 17 year olds and is ideal for students interested in an academic programme or for those who are joining a year-round boarding school in September. This intensive programme has 30 hours of lessons per week including English Skills, Language Workshops and School Subjects (such as Maths, Science, Economics, Business, Art, Geography) studied at pre-GCSE, GCSE or A level. The course is open from 29th July to 25th August 2012.
English and Activities costs £940 per week with minimum two week stay.
Discover Cambridge costs £1,200 per week with a minimum two week stay.
Discover London costs £1,160 per week with minimum two week stay.
Academic Preparation costs £1,050 per week with minimum two week stay.
Students come from over 40 different countries. Class sizes are 14 students maximum per class.

All accommodation is on campus with the number of beds per bedroom depending on the course attended.
We provide a meeting service to/from various airports and train stations at any time on arrival and departure days.
A Visa Invitation Letter is provided if a student requires a visa to study in the UK.
