Language School description
The
Toronto school is located not far from the center, in the
district of Cabbagetown. With its unique mix of Victorian houses, small
boutiques and cosy pubs, Cabbagetown is considered to be a tranquil oasis
amidst the hustle and bustle. The district acquired its name because the
poverty of many Irish immigrants in the 19th Century resulted in them growing
cabbage in their front yards to avoid starvation.
