As the Beijing Chinese school is located in a large park, you can go outside when you like, or perhaps go and read in one of the pavilions. A stylishly-furnished café and restaurant can be found in the school building Wen Hua Gongan, where you can relax during your lunch break. Free tea and coffee is available for students in the school’s lobby.

Language courses at Sprachcaffe Beijing:

Standard course:

• Course duration: minimum 2 weeks
• Classes: 4 lessons per day, each of 45 minutes, 5 course days per week
• Minimum age: 18 years old; 16-17 accepted with parental or guardian authorization
• Levels: basic, intermediate, advanced
• Starting dates: throughout the year

 

Intensive Course:

• Course duration: minimum 1 week
• Classes: 6 lessons per day, each of 45 minutes, 5 course days per week
• Minimum age: 18 years old; 16-17 accepted with parental or guardian authorization
• Levels: basic, intermediate, advanced
• Starting dates: throughout the year

Individual lessons:

• Course duration: minimum 1 week
• Classes: 2, 4 or 6 lessons per day, each of 45 minutes, as requested
• Class size: 1 student
• Minimum age: 18 years old; 16-17 accepted with parental or guardian authorization
• Levels: basic, intermediate, advanced
• Starting dates: throughout the year

• Classes: 20 or 30 lessons per week, incl. specific exam preparation

Our students come from all over the world, so that students will profit from a nationality mix. Countries students come from are i.e. Germany, Russia, South Korea, Italy, the US and many more. The average age of our students in Beijing is  approx. 27. The max. number of students per class is ususally 8 but varies with the type of language course.

Activities

---

Activities in Beijing:
During your free time after class in Beijing you could, for example, go and play tennis (for a fee). The three tennis courts have a café and shower rooms. The courts are located inside the park, with its impressive Imperial Ancestral Temple, and are only around 50 meters away from school. Football, table tennis and basketball are also popular sports in Beijing, and could be practiced in one of the many sports clubs.

Furthermore our Sprachcaffe Team in Beijing organizes various activities and full- or half-day excursions. Please note that depending on the activity and excursion extra costs may apply.

Students can also book addtitional courses to learn more about the Chinese culture, such as Thai Chi or Calligraphy courses.

Accommodation in Beijing:

Apartment:

This beautiful, quiet apartment with a stunning view of the city is just 7 subway stations away from the language school and is thus very centrally located. Students share this fully furnished apartment with 2 bathrooms and a well-equipped kitchen.

This accommodation may only be booked for a stay of 4 weeks or more.

An overview of the facilities:

• Single and double rooms
• Fully furnished
• 30-45 minutes with the subway to school
• Shared use of: living room, 1 or 2 bathroom(s) and the fully equipped kitchen
• TV, refrigerator, washing machine, air conditioning/heating

Guest House:

The guest houses we have selected are centrally located in the heart of Beijing near the main shopping streets. To get to the language school you normally have to walk no more than 15-30 minutes.

Double rooms may only be booked by language students travelling together (i.e. it is not possible to book “half” a double room).

• Room facilities include: toilet, TV, air conditioning, telephone and kettle
• Fully furnished
• Half board: breakfast in the guest house, lunch in the school canteen (Monday to Friday)
• Regular basic cleaning
• Laundry service for a small fee
