Learn French in a private university in the heart of Paris ! The French Language and Culture Institute of the Catholic Institute -
ILCF Paris - is a perfect place to study French in France.
It was founded in 1948 and since then, every year, the ILCF teaches 2500 students aged 18 and upwards. Students come from all over the world, individually or in a group, to learn French and to become acquainted with the French culture and civilization in a university atmosphere.

1. The classes take place in the historical heart of Paris (Saint-Sulpice, Saint-Germain-des-Près, Luxembourg gardens), on the Catholic University campus.
2. Educational quality: 50 highly qualified French teachers, modern teaching methods (multimedia), educational follow-up, max 18 students per class
3. Educational diversity: 100 different classes of French language per semester
4. French Culture and civilization courses: arts, cinema, communication, literature, history, philosophy, geography...
5. Diplomas and certificates (TEF, etc)
6. ILCF is an official exam centre of the CCIP (Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry)
7. Access to the Catholic university programmes after the ILCF courses
8. Stable classes throughout the whole semester : no “incoming “or “outgoing” students
9. The language courses conform to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF)
10. European Credits (ECTS) and Credits for students from American universities
11. Free French conversation classes with native French speakers and free access to the multimedia lab

Three types of programmes are available:
Semester course (4 months from September to January or February to June)
Monthly intensive courses (French Winter courses : January, February ;
Spring courses : May, June ; French Summer courses : July, August, September
French Evening courses : 4 months from September to January or February to June
Schools Fees : from 425€ per semester.

Many Activities are offered to our students :
Friendly Conversations : Practice your French! The ILCF students can take part in FREE French conversation sessions hosted by native French speakers. This service is totally free of charge !
Multimedia self-training : Practice your French with a teacher ! The ILCF students can practice their written or oral French, their phonetics, or work on specific cultural topics in the multimedia laboratory. A teacher will follow the student and advise him/her. This service is totally free of charge !
Cultural activities Cultural activities are organised all year round (guided tours of Paris, expeditions…) The "Bric-à-Brac" students newspaper and the blog A blog and a newspaper for students created by students and with the students! Next semester, the editorial team will be… You !

Learning French at the ILCF Paris - the Catholic Institute - was a very good experience. I took 2 semesters and now I'm studying design in an art school in Paris.
My French courses prepared me well, especially culture and civilisation courses.
I highly recommend it !!!
