first time in abroad

I just came to Cape Town for universty. before I came here, I had a dreamt about going abroad, especially English countries. than we researched and found Cape Town.
I have been here for about 2 mounths. I am going to stay for another 7 mounths. I first came with my father, in the first week we traveled to a lot of places here. after my father went back, I started to study English at EC. and I settled into a host family's house.
now, everything is fine. I try to speak English and I meet some people many times. I have so much fun. I think, EC is a successful choice to learn Eglish. But I still struggle to speak English.
I also like my host family. they are very friendly, lovely people. and they are also Muslim
Cape Town is definitely diffirent from my country. there are a lot of people who have got different nationality. everyday I can see some original people that I have never seen before. it is so enjoyable for me :) the weather is similar to my country. actually the same seasons but they are opposite. the same summer as ours but there is extreme weather in the days of Cape Town summer. Finally, I do not know how winter weather is in C.T yet. will see..;)

Rainbow Country

I arrived in Cape Town on 14th November for the second time in my life, and like the first one, everything has been great here.
As a child, I had already Africa in my heart, that's the reason I feel at home inside this land everytime I come.
First time my parents suggested I leave for South Africa, I didn't know anything about it, and I was convinced to find the "real Africa", with all its troubles such as famine, poverty, conflicts and violence, but however with special people who smile having nothing.
The thing I love most about Cape Town is the way how the people live: from the reality where I come from, it is awesome to see different cultures, religions, lenguages, origins living together.

Cape Town, my amazing experience

The 21.01.2012, I took the plane from Geneva to Cape Town. Before that when I decided to come here to learn English, many people in my family were afraid about this Idea. I didn't expect anything about Cape Town and South Africa, because I traveled to discover. In my Family, that was not the same thing, because Africa has a very bad reputation. They think the north that's only war between peoples, dictators, al Quaida... In the south part, there is the war between little naked black people who live in huts. Of course I exaggerate the description, but that was their idea about Africa.

After my arrival, I discovered a really beautiful city quite similar to European city but with the Table Moutain and the ocean, something really amazing. I've only been here for 1.5 weeks, si it's difficult to say more. I'm here to discover a new culture, and I'm sure that was the good decision and good destination. New culture, in a beautiful place with the sun to learn English, what else could be better?

Experience in Cape Town

When I decided to come to Cape Town, last November, my parents didn't like the ideia, because they thought that here was a dangerous city and couldn't give me many good things.
But they allowed me to come and I was expecting a "sin city" where I could study English, enjoy with my friends and also know a new culture.
Now, after two months here, I can see that I was right, because I could go out to many places here, know different people, and study at school to improve my english. It's been a good experience.

EC Cape Town

Before coming to Cape Town, my expectations were that it will be dangerous, maybe it will have racism because of apartheid.
I thought that people will not be friendly like in my city. But when I arrived, I saw people with big smiles and who are very happy. They help you when you are lost in the street or if you want to go anywhere. They don't care about your skin color, it's really cosmopolitain here.

W Cape Town!!!!

I really liked the time I've spent in Cape Town.
I chose this destination to improve my English only because I thought there is summer season and the life is not expensive.
But now I can say that Cape Town it was a good choise because it is a city with a lot of things to do and to enjoy!!!
It's a little bit dangerous at night but if you are careful it's not a problem.
You can have a lot of fun in Cape Town.

Choose Cape Town!!!!

Cape of Fun

Cape Town is a very nice and beautiful city. I'm really surpised about the estructure of the city, the services are very good and you can find all you want.
In my opinion the thing that makes me most excited is the natural beauty, like the beachs, the mountains and the green/blue of the sea.
I can't forget the night lifeof the city, youn can have a lot of fun here.

My experience in South Africa

Cape Town is an amazing city where you can study English and make new friends. Everywhere you go, you'll see breathtaking views. The nightclubs on Long St and around the city are very exciting and you can meet many other students there. EC School is the best choice to study English in Cape Town. They have a very good team of teachers who have innovative methods of teaching. You can travel and improve your English at the same time!

My experience in EC School

To study english in South Africa was very interesting. It was important to improve my english and to know people from around the world, learn about new cultures and wonderfull places.
In Cape Town, I met people from several countries around de world and I realized that english cans reduce the distance between countries and peoples.
EC is a very good school and I liked so much.
This trip was an important experience for my life and I will always remember many interesting things, places and especial peoples that I met.

EC Cape Town

On my first day in EC Cape Town. Of course I was a little bit excited. But I knew this was normal. I was in diffrent country and city with different people. The first day we got all the information about EC and the management of EC and Cape Town. It was a good presentation. I saw that there were many students from different countries. The second day lessons started. I had friends from Colombia, Brazil, Angola, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Our teacher Mr Johann is funny guy.....

I stayed at EC school for 3 weeks and it was been a good experience for me. Here I could improve my English with good teachers who always became the class more interesting and dynamic.
I could talk about important issues, sometimes I could discuss about my opinion and together improve the conversation.
During the class the grammar was taught wonderfully, I learned it without knowing I was.
I have to say that mornings passed fast for me.
