Activities

Whatever the season, Malta offers you the wonderful opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities all year round. While sun and fun are Malta’s main attraction, sightseeing, sports and photography are leisure time alternatives that will make your visit even more exciting!

With a full programme of activities our leisure department will ensure that you can maximise your learning experience beyond the walls of the classroom. Enjoy our excursions to the ancient cities, take a boat trip to the Blue Lagoon off the Island of Comino or simply bask in the sun on one of our beautiful beaches.

Malta is fun and you will love the nightlife! Our team of young and dynamic Group Leaders and Guides will make sure that you get to know more about the Maltese Islands than you thought existed.

All our excursions use private transport, our guides are fully approved by the Ministry of Tourism and our leisure team is made up of dedicated animateurs who enjoy mixing with our students at all times.

All activities can be booked by sending an email to leisure@amlanguage.com or directly with our leisure department when you arrive in Malta. We have a selection of leisure programmes you can join during your stay but all activities can also be booked individually.

Great experience!!!

My experience was very satisfactory. I went to learn English for a few months and continue in the country a few months. The atmosphere in the class was very pleasant, very professional teachers, I got my goal, much better language. There were a variety of activities that gave me to meet people of different nationality, have fun and make great friends around the world. I recommend this experience to everyone, go!

3 weeks in sliema

Incredible vacation! Relaxing, exciting and surprising! I went with the idea of having a holiday like other I had experienced before and came back having lived an experience not expected. I improved my English thanks to the teachers and the methodology, I also met a lot of new and different kind of people and I enjoyed my free time thanks to the leisure activities which were very well organiced. I can not wait to go back to repeat the experience.

I spent two great weeks in Sliema to improve my english. I met many other international students and we had a lot of fun, both in class and in our free time! Living in a shared apartment is the best opportunity to start friendships and exchange experiences! But also the activity program which is offered contributes to an international exchange between the students. While joining different activities, making sightseeing, being invited with friends etc. you totally forget the time!

Join us

I went to this school for 3 weeks. The school is good, staff friendly and always helpful. If you are short term student I recommend to find the intensive course only, general grammar in my opinion is not really necessary. If you are planning to study for 2-3 months, take a General English course. At after school activity you will have the opportunity to expand your horizons and meet new friends from around the world. Malta is a great place for tourism, a lot of old castles and monuments from ancient culture. Also interesting to taste the local cuisine, you can find Maltese, Italian, English food. Do not forget to spend time with benefit.

Je suis resté une semaine à Malte via l'AM language et c'était tout simplement génial, en colocation avec des Hollandais et un Turc tout c'est très bien passé, les cours était bien et l'ile est sympa à visité meme si en une semaine je n'ai pas eu le temps de tout visiter mais je compte revenir vite!

An incredibly beautiful experience!

I was 6 weeks in Malta to improve my English vocabulary. And where can you learn a language than on the beautiful island of Malta. I was surprised how much fun it is preparing, and after a few days you notice an improvement. In school, you meet nice / helpful teacher. The lessons are varied and fun. The school offers a great entertainment, lots of activities where you can meet people from all over the world. I would recommend anyone to visit this school alone for the reason that it is a beautiful island :)

Fue una de las mejores cosas que pude hacer, os lo aseguro! hicimos muchísimas excursiones super divertidas con gente muy amable. Ma plus belle expérience à l'étranger

Je suis partie seulement un mois et demi au printemps 2011, et j'ai réellement au l'impression de commencer une nouvelle vie. L'école est tout simplement parfaite, aussi bien la qualité des cours que la variété d'animations proposées.
L'intégration et les rencontrent s'établissent très vite. Malte est en plus une île magnifique et surprenante.
J'ai été ravie de vivre cette expérience.
Je conseille vivement cette école et ce lieu !

Hola, buenas!

Soy Jonatan Hermana, y estuve en Malta pasando unos meses para aprender ingles este año pasado. Me pareció una experiencia increible! Con la academia AM hice un montón de excursiones en las cuales conocí a gente con la que todavia tengo contacto y con la que me lo pase de lujo! Fuimos a la isla de Comino en lancha, a Gozo, a la palya... Como mas aprendes es en este tipo de excursiones en las que tienes que relacionarte con la gente. Me encantó! Saludos!!

UNUTAMAYACAĞINIZ ANLAR!!

I've spent 3 months studying in Am Language.It was such a great experience for me.I met a lot of people from different parts of world.I learnt a lot about different culture.I stayed in shared apartment.it is great way to learn english,sharing an apartman or a room.The teachers was so lovely,they were always kind to me.Also there were a lot of trip which is organized by school.So you will be never feel alone and always have something to do.Dont worry it will be the best experience of your life!!!

Inexpressible feelings!

It was amazing, unforgettable, imposing time!
School, people, relations between mates, teachers, classes, lessons, activities...everything was unique!

Vacaciones para repetir!!!

Pude conocer como funcionaban y conocí gracias a su forma de trabajar mucha gente, además de aprender, sin olvidar lo mas divertido; aprender hablando con los compañeros en los ratos de ocio fuera de la escuela y todo promovido por su departamento de organizacion de eventos excursiones, etc. 100% recomendable!!!

i spent 3 weeks studying in AM LANGUAGE SCHOOL, and the holodays were unbelievable=))) For me Malta is PARADISE, amazing and wonderful place and love it so much with all my heart))) Our school is full of friendly people, highly qualified teachers and the staff is so friendly and kind, they want you to be happy and feel comfortable, they are always ready to help you . And because of it i studyed in Malta with GREAT plasure=)) it was the best month during all my life. i am sure i will back to Malta))))

Great, what else can I say!

OMG when I first came in to the school I just didnt want to leave. I loved every single thing about that school. Very friendly staff and i made friends with some of co-ordinators his name is Valera - such a nice guy helped me with everything. and the facilities they provide were quite modern. comparing to another international schools I've been to, I liked yours MOST! seriously guys thank you sooo much. i met so many friends from different countries. wish you all the best.

I spent three weeks studying in this school, but after I changed my flight and I stayed in malta four weeks more.Malta is so wonderfall island, full friendly people and fun. I appreciated in this school so many things: teachers as personalities as well as their teaching methosts,house-family, activities, social coordinators...this school offers a lot of experience not only in the field of language, but also helps you built your social skills. I met there such nice people, and experienced unforgatable summer! Malta and this school is really amazing place!:)

I think my language holiday in AM was the best holiday in my life! Malta is a wonderful place with such a variety of entertainments that hardly any other place can offer. And the school was great! The staff is so friendly that you immidiately feel at home. They are really interested in you! they want you to be happy and feel comfortable. you feel that they are not simply beeing polite becase they should be polite - but this is a true feeling of hospitality and welcome (I felt it everywhere in Malta - in my hostfamily, in the school, in every supermarket and shop). I will come back for sure! I AM language school is my only choice!!!!
