Language School description

ALFMED, founded in 2004 offers foreign students a complete cultural immersion and a unique experience of learning French in the South of France near the Mediterranean Coast and on the doorstep of Barcelone. Our objective: share France! As 1 out of 10 inhabitants in Perpignan is a student, you are sure to find your equals in this vibrant city.

ALFMED offers French courses all year long for juniors, students, adults. We welcome yearly 250 foreigners (individuals, school groups), who want to learn French combinated with cultural outings, sport activities,…. All levels accepted, special juniors programs, intensive sessions every two weeks. We deal with practical details so students can soak up the French culture.

Everyone at ALFMED takes care of the student:

- online French test prior to arrival

- pick-up at train station/airport

- transfer to accommodation

- useful documentation upon arrival

- ALFMED guided tour, city visit
- level assessment

School facilities description

ALFMED premises occupy a recently renovated mansion from the beginning of the 20th century surrounded by a garden. All accommodation is very close by; the train/bus station is located at only a 3 minutes walk.

Bright and comfortable class rooms, a library, a computer laboratory with 10 PCs with Internet and interactive language software, printers, a café open all times. Free WIFI connection in the Academy, garden and accommodation.

I've been in Perpignan for 3 months, It have been a really amazing experience, and people at ALFMED are just wonderful! They will help you to learn the french language in a very friendly and confortable environment, and you will be able to discover the magic of the city (Perpignan) through a series of guided visits.

hi everybody! i've lived in Perpi for 3 month and i spent much time at ALFMED. it was really usefull for me because now i can, at least, make the people understand what i'd like to say in french. before going there, i've never studyed french. it's a great experience: lot's of kind and friendly people from all over the world, a nice place and enviroment. a place where i advise u to go!! bye and enjoy perpignan and the perpignanes!! aurevoir a tous le mond!

I studied in Perpignan only for 2 weeks for my holiday. It was perfect holiday for me. my teacher was so kind of me. she helped me a lot in many ways. Also other ALFMED staff were all kind of me. I shared school flat with other students. It was more fun. My time in Perpignan with ALFMED will never be forgotten.
I wish I had had more time in there.

The courses are effectively organised to learn easier a foreign language not only over a long period but also in short time.
