Language School description
ALFMED is a French language academy offering foreign students a unique experience of learning French in privileged surroundings and complete
cultural immersion.
The objective of the entire ALFMED team is that students can express themselves correctly in French at the end of their stay - According to their levels, specific objectives will be targeted and a final evaluation assessed.
The pedagogical team is composed by open-ended contract people who invest ALFMED projects to share the same passion: the linguistic and cultural opening.
The welcoming of more than 200 foreigners per year at the Academy and the education of 200 French people in foreign languages show it!
School facilities description
Located in the center of the city of Perpignan, very close to the railway station, the premises of the Academy occupy a mansion from the beginning of the last century that was renovated in order to offer students all facilities of a modern school, the accomodation is very close by.
Bright and comfortable class rooms, a friendly library full of books and newspapers at students' entire disposal, a computer science and languages laboratory composed of 9 PCs with Broad Band Internet connection, laser and inkjet color printers, all on free access, a multimedia center with camcorder, big screen TV, DVD player, a café open all times, and a charming garder to sit and relax in.
Everything is designed so that the student feels at home and can study in the best conditions possible.

The city of Perpignan also possesses of a train station (penned "The center of the universe" by the Surrealist and Catalan Salvador Dali). The station is situated very close to the premises of the Academy.

hi everybody! i've lived in Perpi for 3 month and i spent much time at ALFMED. it was really usefull for me because now i can, at least, make the people understand what i'd like to say in french. before going there, i've never studyed french. it's a great experience: lot's of kind and friendly people from all over the world, a nice place and enviroment. a place where i advise u to go!! bye and enjoy perpignan and the perpignanes!! aurevoir a tous le mond!

I studied in Perpignan only for 2 weeks for my holiday. It was perfect holiday for me. my teacher was so kind of me. she helped me a lot in many ways. Also other ALFMED staff were all kind of me. I shared school flat with other students. It was more fun. My time in Perpignan with ALFMED will never be forgotten.
I wish I had had more time in there.

The courses are effectively organised to learn easier a foreign language not only over a long period but also in short time.
